OneDrive backup Spam

Windows 11 users are facing constant alerts in the Start menu urging them to back up their data to OneDrive. These notifications recommend subscribing to Microsoft 365, as the free OneDrive plan offers only 5GB of storage.

The alert, stating “Action advised – back up your PC,” can be ignored if users back up elsewhere, but it reappears unless the PC syncs with OneDrive. Attempts to disable these notifications have been largely unsuccessful, leaving many frustrated.
