Some users may face access issues with the new Battlefield 6 due to the Javelin Anti-cheat system if their systems do not have Secure Boot enabled.
Why Secure Boot?
In the ever-evolving landscape of online gaming, cheat developers are constantly finding new ways to disrupt fair play. To combat this, Electronic Arts is implementing Secure Boot as a key feature. This requirement enhances security by preventing cheats from infiltrating during the Windows boot process. By leveraging Secure Boot, EA can better counteract various cheating methods, including kernel-level cheats, memory manipulation, and tampering with anti-cheat systems.
What Do You Need to Do?
Enabling Secure Boot requires accessing your computer's BIOS or UEFI settings. If you are not comfortable with this process or are unsure how to proceed, you can contact us for support or bring your computer into the shop for assistance.
